Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Service Technician to troubleshoot and service security systems at customer sites in Appleton, WI. You will diagnose, repair, or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and Card Access systems, and coordinate with the care center to communicate status and inspections.

You will operate independently from a remote location with all necessary tools, delivering the highest level of service to resolve building inefficiencies and security issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–4 years’ experience installing and inspecting/repairing fire or burglar alarms.
• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Electrical/Electronic background.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service security systems for customers.
• Repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, Card Access systems and other security equipment.
• Operate with tools/equipment to work independently from a remote location.
• Provide high level of service and solutions at the time of service.
