Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Security Technician in the United States to troubleshoot and service intrusion, IP CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems from multiple manufacturers. The role requires strong communication to assess customer needs and relay next steps, with experience inspecting systems and delivering reports.

Ideal candidates have 3 years in low-voltage or security, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks. A competitive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• 3 years in low-voltage or security industry.
• Experience with major security manufacturer platforms including Bosch/Radionics, Honeywell, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP, DSC.
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• High school diploma or GED (General Education Development).
• Ability to pass thorough background and identity checks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service intrusion, IP CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems from multiple manufacturers.
• Identify customer needs and inform next steps and processes to repair the system to restore full functionality.
• Inspect systems to ensure proper functionality and provide written or digital reports.
