Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking skilled technicians to install, service, and test electronic security systems for residential, commercial, and industrial sites. You will wire alarm panels, test devices, program systems, and explain operation to customers.

Daily paperwork and coordination with the team are required, with travel as needed. A valid driver’s license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Ability to travel as needed; knowledge of fire/electrical codes preferred.
• Able to perform mathematical calculations and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire alarm system devices.
• Test and verify system functionality per manufacturer specs.
• Program alarms via programmer or keypad; document work.
• Explain system operation to customers and perform daily paperwork.
• Communicate with clients and Per Mar Central Monitoring Station.
• Travel to various sites as required by the job.
