Job summary

Platinum Protection Systems LLC is seeking a Security Systems Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and commission commercial electronic security and low-voltage systems. This role covers access control, video surveillance, intercom, intrusion detection, networking, and related building systems.

The technician will diagnose problems, perform preventive maintenance, and document service findings while communicating clearly with customers about corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Experience installing or servicing electronic security, access control, video surveillance, and intruder systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex security deployments.
• Familiarity with low-voltage wiring and networked devices.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, configure and troubleshoot access control and video surveillance systems.
• Diagnose system failures using proper test equipment and documented procedures.
• Repair or replace defective equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Document findings, repairs, and deficiencies for customers.
• Communicate clearly with customers about problems and actions.
