Job summary

Kastle Systems International, LLC is seeking a Service Technician II to test, troubleshoot, and repair security systems on customer sites, with emphasis on access control and CCTV systems. You will interface with clients, other contractors, and Kastle personnel to ensure service orders are completed accurately and on time.

The role requires field work across DC Metro area, strong electrical and networking knowledge, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in Avigilon Video Security & Access Control.
• Advanced electrical knowledge.
• Mid-level to advanced networking knowledge with certifications.
• Advanced diagnostic skills for more complex services.
• Works closely with network and IT personnel about IP addressing issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, services, installs, tests basic access control, security components and Video/CCTV Systems.
• Diagnoses CCTV system problems and determines faulty components.
• Programs digital video recorders and network video recorders according to client needs.
• Ensures that systems are serviced properly and on time in accordance with Kastle's procedures and quality control standards.
• Provides regular progress updates to all stakeholders.
