Job summary

Kastle Systems International, LLC is seeking a Service Technician II to test, troubleshoot, and repair access control and CCTV systems at customer sites across the DC Metro area. You will interact with clients, coordinate with contractors, and ensure timely, accurate service orders.

The role requires hands-on electronics and networking experience, Avigilon certification, and the ability to work overtime and heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Advanced electronics knowledge required.
• Must be certified in Avigilon Video Security & Access Control.
• Advanced electrical knowledge.
• Networking knowledge with relevant certifications.
• Advanced diagnostic skills for complex services.
• Experience coordinating with IT personnel on IP addressing.
• Knowledge of access control products and locksmithing basics.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, services, installs, tests basic access control, security components and Video/CCTV Systems.
• Diagnoses CCTV system problems and determines faulty components.
• Programs digital video recorders and network video recorders according to client needs.
• Ensures that systems are serviced properly and on time in accordance with Kastle's procedures and quality control standards.
• Provides regular progress updates to all stakeholders.
• Communicates with customers, customer representatives, contractors and Kastle staff as necessary to service, install and test equipment.
• Services, and repairs Kastle access control and video systems.
• Interfaces with customers to ensure their complete confidence in the Kastle System.
• Verifies completed work is documented accurately and consults with manager to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintains company-owned vehicles, tools, equipment, and individual tool issue.
• Local Travel to worksites in the DC Metro.
