Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician with programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting capabilities. This role collaborates with sales, field project teams, and clients to ensure sound design and seamless installation of security solutions.

Requirements include 2–5 years in building security systems, ability to program and commission mid-range systems, and strong communication skills. Travel and OSHA familiarity are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have two to five years in a technician role in building security systems.
• Knowledge of access control, CCTV, and voice/data systems.
• Ability to program and commission mid-range systems.
• Independent ability to program manufacturer platforms.

Responsibilities

• Review system layouts and coordinate with engineering, PM and sales.
• Install, program, and commission access control, CCTV, and voice/data systems.
• Produce field surveys and daily project logs.
• Program, commission, and obtain final acceptance by customers.
• Troubleshoot and provide effective resolutions.
• Deliver projects on schedule and within budgets.
• Assist in overseeing project and vehicle inventory.
• Teach and support other technicians.
