Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions seeks an experienced Security Systems Technician to install, program, and commission access control, CCTV, and voice/data networks. You will coordinate with engineering, project management, and sales to ensure sound design and on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 2–5 years in building security systems, proficiency reading drawings, and the ability to troubleshoot with minimal supervision. Travel may be required, with company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a technician role within the building security systems industry.
• Knowledge of access control, CCTV, and voice/data systems.

Responsibilities

• Review system layouts and coordinate with engineering, project management, and sales for successful project execution.
• Install, program, and commission access control, CCTV, and voice/data systems.
• Produce field surveys and daily project logs of activity.
• Programming, commissioning, and final acceptance by customers and end users.
• Troubleshoot and implement effective resolutions.
• Deliver projects on schedule and within cost budgets.
• Provide support to other technicians and guide junior staff.
