Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Systems Technician with programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting capabilities. You will work closely with our sales and field project teams to ensure sound design and seamless installation of fire alarm solutions.

This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with onsite contractors. Occasional travel and OSHA safety compliance are part of the job, with a focus on quality and

Qualifications

• Requires 2–5 years in fire-life safety tech industry.
• Ability to program and commission mid-range fire alarm systems independently.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 and International Fire Code provisions.
• Ability to travel occasionally overnight.

Responsabilités

• Review system layouts and coordinate with engineering, project management, and sales for successful project execution.
• Produce field surveys and daily project logs of activity.
• Program and commission complex fire alarm systems leading to final acceptance by customers and AHJs.
• Produce commissioning and inspection reports in accordance with NFPA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Deliver projects on schedule and within budgets.
• Program systems via laptop computers.
• Provide support and guidance to other technicians.
