Job summary

Stone Security, part of BearCom, is seeking a Support Technician in Denver, CO to install and support security systems. You will respond to routine and after-hours service calls, diagnose and repair equipment, and install projects as needed.

You will troubleshoot Milestone, LenelS2, and DMP software, perform preventative maintenance on installed systems, and collaborate with specialists on servicing existing customers and small projects. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

Three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch).
Three years of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch).
Three years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven track record of leading a security installation team.
Aptitude for networking, computers and general IT is preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to routine and some non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, and emergency and after-hours service calls on a timely basis; diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and troubleshoot systems for routine problems; install projects as necessary.
Use solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software for Milestone, LenelS2, and DMP.
Identifies and resolves problems for many types of service calls including emergency and after-hours calls; analyzes repair requirements and provides customer with appropriate solutions; completes necessary repairs and replacements as needed; exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
Responsible for primarily performing preventative maintenance for installed systems that are typically less complex.
Work closely with other specialists to cross-train on servicing existing customers by responding to service calls, carrying out Customer Support Programs and small projects business.
