Bogaard Group International, Inc. is seeking an experienced Security Systems Project Manager to be embedded on our client’s Security Technology team in San Jose, CA.

The role blends security design and deployment project management with hands-on programming responsibilities, including Lenel OnGuard. You will lead enterprise security deployments across access control, video, intercom, and alarms on new builds, renovations, and upgrades, coordinating with internal stakeholders, vendors, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading enterprise security systems deployments (new builds or MACs).
• 3+ years hands-on programming, configuring, and supporting enterprise physical security systems.
• Experience with Lenel OnGuard programming, configuration, and system administration.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, and security system integrators.
• Strong project management skills with multiple concurrent deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of security-systems projects from design to testing and commissioning.
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot Lenel access control environments.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
• Design and review security system layouts (CCTV, access control, intrusion, intercom).
• Evaluate vendor bids and oversee contractors to ensure quality and documentation.
• Coordinate meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to align scope, schedule, and execution.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover to ensure functionality and client sign-off.
• Track project performance, issues, and financials and apply change-management as needed.
• Maintain all project documentation and ensure client satisfaction, safety, and quality.
