Job summary

Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority is seeking a Security Systems Administrator to manage CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarms across Memphis International Airport.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS and 5 years' IT experience with security systems. You will lead security system projects, train personnel, and work with IT and other departments to ensure reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Five years' IT experience with commercial security systems and access control/video systems.

Responsibilities

• Manages and oversees video management, access control, alarms, and security technologies.
• Conducts ongoing functionality reviews for proper coverage and efficiency.
• Investigates and resolves technical issues in physical security systems.
• Analyzes malfunctions, diagnoses, and identifies root causes.
• Implements solutions or escalates to higher-level support as needed.
• Leads training for personnel on security equipment and conducts classes.
• Leads security system selection, design, and implementation to ensure performance.
• Oversees projects from conception to completion, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Develops KPIs and reporting for alarms, incidents, and service areas.
• Collaborates with IT and other departments to evaluate effectiveness and train staff.
