Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking an Airport Electronic Security Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot critical security and access control systems in the airport environment. You will respond to urgent issues, support system upgrades, and ensure compliance with federal regulations in a fast-paced aviation setting.

The role involves performing skilled security technician work in service, repair, and maintenance of security-related systems, with a focus on life safety and access

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field with 1 year paid experience in security/electronics or related systems (or substitution per policy).
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical sketches, drawings and project documents.
• Valid state driver's license or Utah driving privilege card.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain access control, intrusion alarms and life-safety systems.
• Respond to emergencies during and after hours to resolve security and safety concerns.
• Calibrate, adjust and repair security hardware and related equipment.
• Coordinate with administration and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
• Prepare documentation and maintain records for compliance and maintenance programs.
