Job summary

Memphis International Airport is seeking a Security Systems Administrator to manage and maintain CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems across its security infrastructure. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in IT/IS/CS or related fields, plus at least five years of experience with security systems and video management platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Five years’ experience in Information Technology and commercial security systems; experience with access control and video management systems.
• Must have a valid driver license.
• Knowledge of surveillance cameras, access control, alarm systems, and network security principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee video management system, access control, alarms, and other security technologies.
• Conduct ongoing functionality review to ensure proper coverage and efficient operation.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues related to physical security systems.
• Analyze system malfunctions, diagnose root causes, and implement fixes.
• Lead solutions or escalate as necessary.
• Train end users and provide guidance and coaching on security equipment.
• Lead the design and implementation of security systems to ensure performance and standards.
• Provide project oversight including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Develop reporting processes and KPIs for alarms, incidents, tracking, and other service areas.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to evaluate program effectiveness and train IT staff on security protocols.
