Qualifications

• The candidate has four years of experience with planning, installing, and maintaining surveillance, access control, and alarm systems or an equivalent background.
• An associate degree in applied science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
• Proof of education, training, or experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing cameras, DVRs/NVRs, access control, and alarm systems.
• Determine surveillance and access control needs for the department.
• Prepare requirement documents and bid specs for surveillance and access control purchases.
• Evaluate off-the-shelf technologies and provide integration recommendations.
• Develop operation concepts and design specifications.
