Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Low Voltage Technician in Wisconsin to install, service, and test electronic security systems for residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

You will install alarm devices, test functionality, program systems, and demonstrate operations to customers, while ensuring compliance with fire and electrical codes. You will complete daily paperwork, coordinate with the Central Monitoring Station, and travel as needed to client sites.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required and able to pass background checks.
• Must be able to travel to client sites as needed.
• Strong math skills for measurements and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire specified alarm system devices.
• Test and verify that all systems and devices installed function properly according to specs.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain and demonstrate to customers how the alarm system works.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Coordinate with clients, co-workers, and monitoring station.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
