APSS LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain integrated security and low voltage systems at customer sites in the Little Rock, AR area. The role emphasizes hands-on work with video surveillance, access control, weapons detection systems, and DAS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, with 3–5 years of industry experience preferred.
• Preferred certifications in Avigilon or other security platforms.
• OSHA 10/30 and networking certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+).
• Low-voltage or access control certifications are valued.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Avigilon camera systems and video management platforms.
• Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cables (CAT5e/CAT6, fiber, coax).
• Configure IP-based devices and basic network infrastructure.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and network issues and resolve them.
• Provide onsite technical support and customer training as needed.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system documentation for proper installation.
• Travel to various sites and follow safety procedures.
