Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Engineer 1 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will contribute to designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

The role involves developing system requirements, collaborating with clients and vendors, and supporting project documentation from design through commissioning. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in system engineering, computer science, information systems, or related discipline required.
• 0+ years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develops, engineers, integrates, and maintains security systems and IT solutions.
• Collaborates with clients, partners, and internal teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.
• Prepare design packages, drawings, specifications, and installation details.
• Perform system programming, integration testing, and commissioning tasks.
• Support bids and proposals for new work.
• Create and review project and device schedules and test plans.
