Job summary

M.C. Dean seeks an Engineer 1 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will design, engineer, integrate, operate, and maintain electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, and video surveillance for federal, local, and commercial clients. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and the ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 0+ years of experience in similar scope projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining system documentation and maintenance records.
• Generating weekly/monthly status reports.
• Staying current on industry trends and products.
• Installing and configuring networks based on IDP to meet customer needs.
• Researching equipment to resolve issues during installation/testing.
• Collaborating with Design Department to fix design problems.
• Suggesting process improvements and cost savings.
• Providing systems support for large HPC centers and maintaining docs.
• Designing automation systems and providing user guideline documents.

Education

Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline
