Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Engineer 1 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. The role involves designing, engineering, integrating, operating and maintaining electronic security services for federal, local and commercial customers.

A bachelor’s degree and ability to obtain a secret clearance are required; domestic/international travel up to 25% is expected. Responsibilities include system documentation, installation/configuration per IDP, vendor research, and collaboration with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related discipline with 0+ years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a secret clearance.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills; able to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain system documentation and generate weekly/monthly status reports.
• Stay current on industry trends 4–6 hours per week; research products/services.
• Perform staging and setup for project support and self-instruction.
• Install and configure networks based on an Installation Design Package (IDP).
• Research equipment from multiple manufacturers to resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with Design Department to resolve design issues during the cycle.
• Support large-scale HPC center; install/manage computer systems and interfaces.
• Provide automation system designs with material lists and user manuals.
