Job summary

The Trinity River Authority seeks a skilled professional to manage the maintenance program for all physical security systems across project and office locations. You will oversee access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems, track maintenance activity, and lead preventative maintenance programs.

Collaboration with IT and design teams is essential. You will also manage budgets, training, and documentation while serving as the primary contact for security equipment maintenance, including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college/technical training preferred.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a security installer/integrator.
• Experience with security systems and hardware.
• Experience training maintenance staff on triaging or diagnosing issues.
• Certifications: Certified access control installer; Certified alarm installer; ASIS PSP preferred.
• Knowledge of construction practices and project management.

Responsibilities

• Submit, track, and close out maintenance requests from various systems.
• Identify maintenance needs and perform root-cause analysis as needed.
• Create and manage preventative maintenance plans for physical security equipment.
• Train TRA employees on security maintenance steps.
• Process and manage security maintenance budgets for project locations.
• Track time, resources, and records for equipment in/out service.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
• Assign priority levels to new maintenance requests.
• Initial troubleshooting with the requester.
• Coordinate with Planning, Design, and Construction on new security plans.
• Coordinate with IT to diagnose network outages or IT needs.
• Report to work during emergencies; essential personnel fill shifts.
