Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or electronics preferred.
  • Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of security systems.
  • Ability to read schematics, manuals and work orders.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Dallas–Fort Worth and occasional after-hours assignments.
  • Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles and safe work practices.

Role Description

The Security Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. This role is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on security systems and related equipment, including access control, cameras, alarms, and monitoring devices. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting equipment, identifying issues, troubleshooting malfunctions, and executing repairs to ensure continuous and reliable operation. The technician will schedule and perform preventive maintenance, document work performed, and coordinate with operations, security, and facilities teams to minimize downtime and support safety and compliance. The role may also assist with system upgrades, installations, and testing, while following established procedures and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for security systems and related infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability in Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues efficiently.
  • Experience with Preventive Maintenance practices to extend equipment life and reduce unexpected failures.
  • Background in Industrial Maintenance or similar technical environment, preferably involving security or facility systems.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, electronic, or mechanical principles and safe work practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, electronics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Capacity to work on-site, including occasional after-hours or on-call assignments as needed.
