Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience conducting investigations and preparing professional reports.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies.
• Confidentiality and sound judgment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally).
• Ability to analyze security risks and implement effective solutions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Security Department.
• Supervise and evaluate Security Officers.
• Conduct shift briefings and ensure consistent communication across all security teams.
• Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and exceptional guest service.
• Monitor and protect resort guests, associates, visitors, and company assets.
• Oversee patrol operations, access control, surveillance systems, and incident response.
• Investigate security incidents, accidents, thefts, disturbances, and policy violations.
• Prepare detailed incident, accident, and investigative reports.
• Coordinate emergency response activities, including evacuations and crisis management.
• Ensure compliance with fire life safety standards and emergency preparedness procedures.
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify and mitigate security and safety risks.
• Assist with developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA, local fire codes, and applicable regulations.
• Recommend improvements to enhance safety, loss prevention, and operational efficiency.
• Respond professionally to guest concerns involving safety or security.
• Work collaboratively with all resort departments to resolve security-related issues.
