Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Security Supervisor for the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI. You will lead security operations, supervise personnel, review incident reports, and uphold safety standards across guests, associates, and property.

Ideal candidates have security or EMS background, hospitality supervisory experience, and the ability to handle shift work, including overnights and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, military, or EMS preferred.
• Security supervisory experience preferred in hospitality.
• Must pass MVR background screening.
• Knowledge of local laws and ordinances.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all security functions are properly completed by the department.
• Assign personnel appropriately at all times.
• Review security reports for accuracy and timely submission.
• Maintain good relationships with hotel departments.
• Investigate incidents involving guests and associates; complete reports.
• Oversee guest room surveillance with Security Director.
• Maintain key control program and report discrepancies.
• Keep security equipment clean and functional (walkie-talkies, radios, cameras).
• Monitor lobby, restaurant, restrooms, garage, and service areas for access control.
• Report unauthorized hotel entry/exit by associates.
• Patrol all areas; act as a visible deterrent.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
