Job summary

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead security personnel, monitor operations, and ensure a safe environment for guests and associates. You will coordinate incident reporting, surveillance, and key control in a premier AAA Four Diamond resort setting.

The role requires prior security or supervisory experience, knowledge of local laws, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, military, or EMS preferred.
• Previous security supervisory experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Background Screening.
• Knowledge of local laws and ordinances.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all security personnel functions are properly completed.
• Ensure personnel are properly assigned at all times.
• Review security reports for accuracy and timely submission.
• Maintain a good relationship with all hotel departments.
• Ensure thorough investigation and reporting of incidents involving guests and associates.
• Oversee guest room surveillance with Security Director.
• Maintain key control program and investigate discrepancies.
• Keep security equipment clean and functional (walkie-talkies, radios, cameras).
• Monitor lobby, restaurant, restrooms, garage, and room service areas for non-guest access.
• Report unauthorized hotel entry/exit occurrences to Security Director.
• Patrol all areas and act as a visible deterrent.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
