Job summary

The role involves directing security and EVS processes, covering shifts, and ensuring officers meet training standards. Candidates should have basic knowledge of Iowa laws and a valid driver’s license, with related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two years progressive security experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Iowa civil and criminal laws and understanding of electronic, video and alarm functions.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct security team members and EVS processes; cover shifts as needed.
• Maintain training records for officers in training.
• Coordinate with Security Director and Shift Managers on trainee progress.
• Safeguard assets and perform all security functions and duties.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests and team members.
• Patrol the casino, hotel, parking lot and golf course; respond to emergencies.
• Perform first aid, CPR and AED as needed and maintain certifications.
• Write incident reports and conduct money transfers or table fills as assigned.
