The New York Historical seeks a Security Supervisor to oversee day-to-day and long-term security operations, ensuring a safe environment for visitors, staff, and collections. You will supervise personnel, patrol the museum, investigate incidents, and assist in emergency responses in the Director’s absence.

The Security Supervisor will assist in the day-to-day and long-term operations of the Museum. To ensure a safe environment for visitors, staff, and Museum collections and property: supervise security personnel; patrol the Museum; participate in incident investigations; respond to emergency situations; prepare and submit reports to the Director. The Security Supervisor is responsible for the Security function when the Director is off-site.
