Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities in Huntsville is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead the community's security operations and uphold a safe environment for residents and staff.

You will oversee security activities, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and partner with leadership to align security with organizational goals, all while promoting safety and professionalism across the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4-5 years of experience in security, law enforcement, emergency services, or related field.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must possess and maintain CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (or obtain within three months).

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Security Supervisor position.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight for the community's security operations, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents, team members, and visitors. Ensures compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Partners closely with community leadership to align security initiatives with organizational goals. Fosters a culture of safety, accountability, and professionalism while maintaining the highest standards of resident satisfaction and operational excellence.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in security, law enforcement, emergency services, or a related field
• Prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Must possess and maintain current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (or obtain within three months of employment)

Pay Range

$20.09 - $23.90 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
