Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a dependable Security Guard to protect residents, staff, and property. You will monitor premises, respond to incidents, and provide a safe environment through proactive patrols and access control.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/AED/First Aid certifications (or within three months). The role offers comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates forour Security Guard position.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residents, team members, visitors, and property through proactive patrols, monitoring security cameras, access control, and other life-safety systems. Responds promptly to medical emergencies, fire alarms, and security incidents while maintaining a visible presence to deter misconduct and proactively promote a safe and secure environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, emergency services, or a related field (preferred)
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Must possess and maintain current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (or obtain within three months of employment)

Pay Range

$16.43 - $19.91 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
