Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Security Guard to safeguard residents, staff, visitors and property. The role includes proactive patrols, monitoring cameras and access control, and responding to incidents to maintain a secure environment.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates forour Security Guard position.

Saturdays and Sundays from 4pm -12am; every weekend.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residents, team members, visitors, and property through proactive patrols, monitoring security cameras, access control, and other life-safety systems. Responds promptly to medical emergencies, fire alarms, and security incidents while maintaining a visible presence to deter misconduct and proactively promote a safe and secure environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, emergency services, or a related field (preferred)
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Must possess and maintain current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (or obtain within three months of employment)

Pay Range

$17.00 - $21.29 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
