Job summary

Q Casino + Resort is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead security staff across shifts, ensuring the safety of patrons, employees and the facility. The role requires directing check-ins, enforcing security procedures and maintaining keys, while upholding regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include supervising officers, coordinating with the Security Manager, handling incidents, assisting in training, and ensuring accurate daily reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1 year of prior security experience and 1–2 years of supervisory experience required.
• OSHA trained in blood-borne pathogen cleanup.
• Good oral and written communication and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and assign Security staff members to locations.
• Facilitate shift start buzz session to share information.
• Enforce internal controls, SOPs, and IRGC regulations.
• Maintain control of shift keys and oversee cash collection per regulations.
• Complete daily attendance and required state reports.
• Report incidents to proper officials and assist in arrests or evictions when needed.
• Assist in training Security and Valet staff; perform disciplinary actions as needed.
• Monitor parking lots and respond to violations; assist in medical calls when required.
• Oversee routine maintenance requests and staffing in absence of supervisors.
