Job summary

Required: Bachelor's degree with security experience (or equivalent), CPP within 2 years; valid driver's license. Exempt, full-time schedule, 80 hours per pay period; some flexibility for 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with three years of progressively responsible security experience or associates degree with five years of progressively responsible security experience or HS/GED with seven years of progressively responsible security experience.
• CPP designation or equivalent required within two years of employment.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Security Specialists provide security services for the assigned program or external clients and to research or revise security policies.
• Apply structured improvement methodologies and support threat assessment/management, intelligence, security technology, workplace violence training.
