Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Manager, Security Technology & Operations to lead the Security Operations Center, guiding real-time threat intelligence, fusion center operations and security dispatch. You will drive enterprise-wide security technology standardization and collaborate with peers to advance the organization’s security model.

The role requires a strong background in security management, executive communication, and the ability to lead diverse teams through complex projects.

Qualifications

• Must be security clearance eligible.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Security Management, Business Management, Organizational Management, Risk Management, or related field is required.
• Master's Degree in associated field is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in security/related fields.
• Minimum of three years of direct supervisory or management experience.
• Certified Protection Professional or equivalent, or will obtain within two years of hire.
• Must be computer literate and proficient in data entry and retrieval.
• Strong written/verbal communication and executive-level presentation skills.
• Ability to lead discussions and negotiate on high risk issues.
• Knowledge of security concepts, frameworks, and healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Security Operations Center, real-time threat intelligence, fusion center, and security dispatch operations.
• Oversee design and maintenance of security technology processes, tools, and analytics.
• Drive standardization of security technology across the enterprise for centralized monitoring and analytics.
• Produce updates to leadership groups and participate in relevant committees and workgroups.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
