Job summary

QinetiQ US seeks a Security Specialist to support SDA’s mission in a fast-paced environment. You will handle access requests, indoctrinations, and document handling while maintaining personnel records and assisting PHYSEC/OPSEC functions.

The role requires a TS clearance with SCI eligibility and at least 5 years of related experience, plus strong written and verbal communication skills for interactions with staff and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required (or 4 years of related experience).
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• 5 years' related experience required.
• Must have strong written and verbal communications skills and be willing to actively communicate with co-workers, program leadership, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations.

Responsibilities

• In-process personnel supporting SDA.
• Process incoming and outgoing Visit Access Requests.
• Perform security indoctrinations.
• Process foreign travel notifications and debriefs.
• Provide clearance verification for account requests.
• Prepare documents and packages for mailing.
• Maintain/update personnel records in multiple systems.
• Provide support to internal Security functions to include PHYSEC, OPSEC, and Industrial Security.
• Perform preliminary inquiries for security infractions/violations.
