Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking a Security Specialist to support SDA missions, ensuring insider threat controls, clearance processing, and secure personnel security operations at Chantilly premises.

The role requires TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a bachelor's degree or 4 years related experience, and strong written and verbal communication to coordinate with program leadership and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required (or 4 years of related experience)
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required #qinetiqclearedjob
• 5 years' related experience required
• Must have strong written and verbal communications skills and be willing to actively communicate with co-workers, program leadership, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations

Responsibilities

• In-process personnel supporting SDA
• Process incoming and outgoing Visit Access Requests
• Perform security indoctrinations
• Process foreign travel notifications and debriefs
• Provide clearance verification for account requests
• Prepare documents and packages for mailing
• Maintain/update personnel records in multiple systems
• Provide support to internal Security functions to include PHYSEC, OPSEC, and Industrial Security
• Perform preliminary inquiries for security infractions/violations
