Job summary

ProSync is seeking a Mid-Level PERSEC Security Specialist to manage personnel security programs, including clearances, access authorizations, and compliance with DoD, IC, and agency policies. You will work with employees, government stakeholders, and security professionals to support mission-critical operations.

The role requires experience in personnel security actions within government, DoD, IC, or contractor environments, and an active TS/SCI with SAP/SAR eligibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting personnel security, security clearance administration, access management, or related disciplines.
• Experience processing and managing personnel security actions in government/DoD/IC/contractor environments.
• Knowledge of personnel security regulations, clearance processes, and access control requirements.
• Experience maintaining personnel security records and supporting compliance reviews or audits.

Responsibilities

• Administer personnel security programs for classified programs, facilities, and operations.
• Process, track, and manage security actions including clearances, access requests, indoctrinations, and reinvestigations.
• Review documentation for compliance with government policies.
• Coordinate with government security offices on clearance eligibility and adjudicative actions.
• Maintain personnel security databases and records for accuracy and accountability.
• Conduct reviews, audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
• Support onboarding/offboarding involving security requirements and access control.
• Respond to inquiries from employees, management, and government customers.
• Investigate and document security incidents and reporting requirements.
• Develop reports, metrics, briefings, and status updates on program activities.
• Provide guidance on personnel security processes and compliance obligations.
• Support security policy updates and best practices.
