Job summary

Target is seeking a Security Specialist to protect guests, team members, and the brand with vigilant, people-focused security solutions. You will participate in crisis response, safety coordination, and incident documentation while maintaining a welcoming shopping environment.

The role requires the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, plus strong de-escalation and communication skills. Training will be provided to develop program-specific knowledge and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
• Able to communicate on multiple devices and operate scanners and technology components.
