Target is seeking a Security Specialist to protect guests, team members, and assets. You will respond to security events, document incidents, and use surveillance tools to maintain a safe shopping environment.

The role requires agility, strong communication, and teamwork to deliver a friendly guest experience while upholding safety standards across shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and help them find what they need for a smooth shopping experience.
• Document security incidents promptly using case management systems.
• Respond to and de-escalate security incidents to maintain a safe store environment.
• Help prevent theft and shortages by following AP policies and procedures.
• Support store team members and adapt to business needs while maintaining safety.
