Job summary

Target is hiring a Security Specialist to help keep guests, team members and the store safe. The role requires strong communication, teamwork and a proactive approach to loss prevention.

You will greet guests, assist with their needs, and document incidents using Target's case management system. This on-site position offers hands-on training and opportunities to grow within Asset Protection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience.
• Greet guests and assist with finding products and resolving issues.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team members and maintain a positive attitude.
• Promote a physical security culture and protect store assets.
