Job summary

LONG Building Technologies, Anchorage, AK, seeks a Project Manager II to oversee the full lifecycle of security projects. You will supervise planning, design, equipment procurement, and labor scheduling to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery that meets customer specifications.

Responsibilities include maintaining submittals and contract documentation, managing costs, directing engineering, and mentoring subordinate PMs. Travel to sites and client locations is required.

Qualifications

• 4-year Construction Management Degree or equivalent; related technical degree with security-system experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Gather and maintain project submittals and documents.
• Keep project contracts, scope, plans, reports up to date.
• Identify scope/schedule changes and coordinate with Sales for amendments.
• Monitor project costs and take corrective action when estimates are exceeded.
• Direct engineering in submittals, drawings, and material scheduling.
• Monitor installations and site progress against budget and schedule.
• Maintain project schedules using MS Project or equivalent.
• Coordinate training for owner operating personnel.
• Travel to sites and visit customer locations.
