Job summary

LONG Building Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee Security Solution projects from start to finish in Renton.

You will mentor other project managers, coordinate project planning, equipment procurement and workforce scheduling to meet customer deadlines and budgets. The role requires deep knowledge of security systems, strong cost control, and collaboration with sales and operations to ensure project success and profitability.

Qualifications

• 4-year Construction Management degree or a 2-year technical degree and 6 years of Security systems experience (OR) 2 years tech school and 8 years of Commercial security project management or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Extensive knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, electrical systems, monitored alarms, and related engineering, installation and construction procedures
• PMP Certification or other project management certification or training
• Ability to travel to and inspect job sites and client locations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead security systems projects from proposal through completion, coordinating with LONG project management procedures.
• Direct engineering for submittals, installation drawings, selection, ordering and scheduling of materials and equipment.
• Manage and update project schedules using MS Project or approved platforms and forecast workforce needs.
• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to estimates and budgets.
• Coordinate training of owner operating personnel and mentor junior staff.
