Job summary

Keenfinity Group is seeking a Software Test Automation Co-op in Fairport, NY. You will contribute to designing, developing, integrating, and testing software for security products, working with software engineers, testers, and product managers.

You will take ownership of tasks from design through validation in a collaborative, mentorship-supported environment. You’ll gain hands-on experience in software testing for new product development, with exposure to real-world embedded systems, trends

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS degree in a technology-related field.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Python development experience required.
• CI/CD concepts incl. unit/integration tests and automation preferred.
• Strong analytical and tool usage skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical/non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to own work and work independently.
• Knowledge of Agile development methods preferred.
• Experience with real-time embedded systems in C/C++ (OO) preferred.
• Self-motivation and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop test automation or supporting infrastructure for a new product/cloud-native security panel ecosystem.
• Verify automated tests for software and embedded firmware.
• Evaluate results from repeatability and reliability studies.
• Troubleshoot product and test equipment; implement fixes.
• Use data-driven approaches for performance, trending, and test-result analysis.
