The role emphasizes developing tests, automating verification, and supporting product and hardware teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with ability to work independently.
• Cross-functional teamwork and ownership of goals.
• Experience with real-time embedded software development and testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in requirements engineering and define technical scope for firmware projects.
• Design, develop, and integrate test software for security system products.
• Write embedded software (C, C++, Python) for testing automation.
• Contribute to test strategy, estimates, and cross-functional reviews.
• Collaborate with software engineers, testers, and product managers.
• Execute and evaluate repeatability and reliability studies.
