Job summary

Keenfinity Group in Fairport, NY is seeking a Software Test Automation Co-op to assist in design, development, integration and testing of software for security products. You will work with cross-functional teams including software engineers, test engineering and product managers to deliver assigned tasks from design through testing.

Responsibilities include developing test automation or supporting infrastructure for a cloud-native security panel ecosystem and verifying automated tests on

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Python development experience required.
• CI/CD concepts and test automation experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with structured approach.
• Knowledge of Agile methods preferred.
• Experience with C/C++ in real-time embedded systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, integration and testing of software for security products.
• Identify test cases to meet project requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in test automation or infrastructure for a cloud-native security panel ecosystem.
• Verify automated tests for software and embedded firmware.
• Analyze results from repeatability and reliability studies.
• Troubleshoot product and test equipment and propose fixes.
