Job summary

Keenfinity Group is seeking a Software Test Automation Co-op in Fairport, NY. You will participate in design, development, integration and testing of software for security products, collaborating with engineers and product managers in a cross-functional team.

You will learn software testing for new product development under a staff mentor, gaining experience across automation, test infrastructure, and embedded software environments.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing BS Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or another technology-related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Software development experience in Python required.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts including unit and integration test and automation of test procedures preferred.
• Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication skills preferred.
• Willingness to take ownership and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, integration and testing of software systems for security products.
• Identify test cases to meet project requirements with product and development teams.
• Work in cross-functional team with software engineers, test engineering, and product managers.

Education

BS Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or another technology-related field
