Job summary

CGL Electronic Security, Inc. is seeking a Software Support Technician in the Greater Boston area. This role focuses on programming and configuring security-related systems per customer needs and managerial direction.

You will install and integrate access control and video surveillance solutions, support internal teams, and maintain system certifications. Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills are essential for success in a fast-paced security environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years experience preferred.
• CORI check required and MA certificate of clearance.
• Background check, drug screen, and clean driving record required.
• SQL knowledge is a plus.
• IT networking and system support background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide software installation, integration and configuration for access control systems and video surveillance.
• Support internal teams that repair and maintain customer systems; perform regular maintenance; diagnose problems and plan repairs.
• Coordinate with customers prior to scheduled software projects to verify information and personnel.
• Provide customer system training and hands-on support.
• Maintain and update certifications for cameras and access control systems.
