Job summary

CGL Electronic Security in the Greater Boston area is seeking a Software Support Technician to install, configure, and service access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems.

You will provide integration support for customers, train users, and collaborate with IT and project stakeholders to meet schedules and quality goals. Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications such as Software House, Genetec, and/or Exacq are desirable.
• Ability to pass CORI check and obtain MA certificate of clearance.
• Pass background check, drug screen, and maintain a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with SQL programming language is a plus.
• Background in IT networking and system support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete software installation and configuration for access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems.
• Provide integration support for customers’ existing security solutions.
• Support internal teams in repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems.
• Coordinate with customers prior to projects to verify information and schedules.
• Provide training on customer systems and configurations.
• Interact with project stakeholders and IT to meet expectations.
• Maintain certifications for camera and access control systems.
