Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years servicing, installing, or programming access control systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Experience with Software House is required.
• Willing to travel locally to jobsites; rare overnight travel may be required.
• Comfortable working at heights and handling hand/power tools as needed.
• Able to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and customer interaction.
• Advanced technical skills related to electronic security and video surveillance.
• Basic MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to every customer, every time.
• Respond to service calls, scheduled maintenance, and after-hours calls (on-call rotation).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair security, access control, and video systems.
• Program and configure system software.
• Fill out clear, accurate service reports after every job.
• Use hand and power tools and work at heights on ladders or lifts when needed.
• Represent CGL as the customer’s go-to service provider.
