Job summary

Harvard Protection Services is seeking a Site Account Manager to lead security personnel for a single client account in Manhattan. You will ensure delivery of professional, customer-focused security and life safety services, and supervise day-to-day operations for the account.

The role emphasizes leadership, timely reporting, emergency response, and collaboration with local authorities. A valid security credential and relevant licenses are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid GSA credential or be eligible to obtain one.
• State or municipality mandated security officer licenses.
• 5-10 years civilian law enforcement, private or corporate security experience or military experience with a favorable discharge.
• Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Additional knowledge with scheduling software is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead security personnel to meet contract requirements and client expectations.
• Schedule shifts, overtime management, review daily logs and incident reports.
• Monitor staff performance; conduct evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Provide timekeeping records and prepare weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with authorities as needed.
• Support procurement of uniforms and equipment and oversee vehicle maintenance.
• Maintain professional relationships with local, state, and federal agencies.
