Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. seeks a Security Shift Supervisor to oversee security officers on assigned posts, ensure post orders are followed, and manage reporting and client communications.

The role requires strong leadership, training capability, and the ability to coordinate scheduling, disciplinary actions, and coverage across shifts. Proficiency with security tech and computers is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); ensures post orders are followed and reports are filed.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel; meets with employees and documents actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other personnel; reviews post orders and assignment details with subordinates.
• Assists in payroll and personnel information submissions.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts and outlines tasks and responsibilities with subordinates.
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide customer service.
• Performs supervisory duties including interviewing, orienting, training, planning, directing work, coaching, and hiring/termination recommendations.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer as needed.
